My Portfolio

Hi there! My name is Amy O’Halloran and I am an outgoing, dramatic and social person. What can I say? I just love the theatrics. Now that I’ve graduated high school and started my next journey at Charles Sturt University studying communications, I’ve learnt that the industry is much more than cameras and fame. My values of kindness and confidence make me want to always become a better version of myself and learn from those more experienced than me. I hope that someday I will be able to fulfil my childhood dream of meeting people and telling their stories. Whether it be on the screen or online, and entertaining other people interested in my stories. I did my certificate III in Entertainment which gives professional experience in running interviews, working in productions, digital skills and filming.

My experiences

Throughout the years I have been lucky to have had the opportunity in three different workplaces. Currently I work at JB-HI-FI and Ally Fashion in Bathurst, NSW. I started these jobs in April of 2022 and I’m still currently working there. I enjoy liaising with customers, doing a variety of tasks and working with my team. Before moving to Bathurst for University to study a Bachelor of Communications, I lived in Wagga Wagga NSW where I worked for this small company called Wagga Wagga Free Range Pork. Despite the fact that it was a small company, I still gained a great deal of experience which helped me be more professional in my current jobs.

Along with paid work, I was also volunteering. My volunteer work consisted of helping out at the local Scouting Australia group every Tuesday as a leader, which involved running activities for children between the ages of 5-8.
